Who do you have to lift you when you’re low? To check your logic? To tell you something you don’t want to hear, but must hear? To make you laugh or to listen when you are uncertain? All great leaders have had one, or ideally several advisors who served those roles formally or informally, because all great leaders know they can’t go it alone. If you don’t have people like that in your life, find them. And if you can find ways to be that advisor to another leader in your life, even better.
